Create an infra red virtual barrier with this interesting minikit. The transmitter emits a beam of infra red light which is picked up by the matching receiver. If the beam is broken (i.e. by someone walking through it) the receiver sounds an alarm and illuminates an LED. Ideal for indoor security or visitor annunciation applications.
