Jersey Joe Walcott Signed And Framed Photo Presentation

Jersey Joe Walcott (January 31 1914 - February 25 1994) broke the world's record for the oldest man to win the world's Heavyweight title when he earned it at the age of 37. Before winning it he had to face many of the best boxers of his era. His fame transcended boxing and he became a popular New York figure after he retired as a boxer. This rare presentation contains an historic press photo produced at the time of his World title win in 1951 with details printed at the bottom of the photo.

It is personally signed by Walcott and presented framed with dual mounts and an inset plaque. It originates from a large collection of memorabilia displayed in a sports bar that was recently obtained by Spirit of Sport. It has been re-framed and is presented in a tasteful thick black wood surround that measures in at 41cm by 36cm (approx).

The signature may not appear prominently on the website image but be assured it is clear and legible on the actual item. It has also been fully authenticated.A super collectable from one of the boxing legends Jersey Joe Walcott.
